I decided to write again, after a gap of several months…start right where I left. I had Lot of thoughts in the beginning but many remained unfulfilled. I wanted to give back to the World what it has given me – good or bad, but somehow usefull to someone – somewhere.

With this I hope to contribute a much greater deal this time around and cover much wider arena than bits and scraps. My thoughts and that the views I endorse.

INTEL PROCESSOR PRODUCT CODES AND UTILITY

If we take a close look on out Desktop and notebook specs., we mostly come across the processor Identifier as Intel Core2Duo Txxxx or sometime uXXXXX. For those who usually work on systems usually familiar with this, as it is very important to decode what these processor does and what is their rating.
Well if you come across these codes, and don’t know how to deal with this or if not utilising these facts, then this site will HELP. The site is called Intel ARK (ARK | Your source for information on Intel® products)

My opinion if u are trying ubuntu for the first time, apart from synaptic, this is the other place where u will find applications for ur newly installed version of Ubuntu or any of its flavors. Love it.

Port Forwarding Test

Blogging after a long long gap…could do due to a series of both good and bad, both lucky and unfortunate events. Well not more on that now, will deluge into that latter on. Now here what I found. A cool site where you can test if a particular port is forwarded properly.
